Welcome

William M. Dugan, Jr., MD is a board certified medical oncologist and hematologist who has been practicing for over 40 years in Indianapolis and throughout rural Indiana. He treats adults with all types of cancer and blood disorders and has special interests in prostate and breast cancers.

Dr. Dugan is a caring, dedicated physician who takes a “multi-disciplinary” approach with his patients. This means that he acts as the “tour director” to coordinate their cancer care and treatment with other specialists that may be needed. This may include intervention with radiation oncology, surgery, neurology and other specialties. Dr. Dugan also treats the symptoms that sometimes accompany cancer and its treatment – from nausea and vomiting, to lack of appetite, pain and depression. His goal is to treat the entire person and ensure their well-being – while managing their cancer.
